CARTER, JOHN GEORGE
April 16, 1928-September 4, 2010
At St. Peter’s Hospital surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Harriet Manore Carter for 59 years. Dear father to Lynn, Brian & his wife Barb, and Scott. Devoted grandfather to Clarissa & her husband Eugene, Jonathan and Courtney and great-grandfather to David and Mason. Predeceased by brothers Bob and Jim and sister-in-law Dorothy. Survived by sister Norma & her husband Bernie and sister-in-law Hilda and many nieces and nephews. John worked 39 years at Hamilton Hydro. He will be remembered for his quick wit and sense of humour and great enjoyment of the cottage and the outdoors.

Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave., on Friday, September 10th from 4pm-6pm followed by a memorial service in the chapel at 6pm. Interment at United Church Cemetery in Grandbend, ON at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to a favourite charity would be appreciated.
