Kawai, Frank Shigeru

Peacefully on January 26, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Villa, Frank Shigeru Kawai passed away in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of Alice Teruko for 64 years. Loving father of Rick (Liz), Michael (Brenda), Elaine Walker (Ian), and Russell (Sharon). Loving grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Frank was the Proprietor of Mountain Jewelers for 45 years. He will be fondly remembered for his love of golf. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave., on Sunday, January 29th from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Monday, January 30th at 10:30am. Cremation to follow.
