After a courageous battle with cancer. Marie passed away on September 26th 2017 in Hamilton Ontario. Predeceased by her loving parents Jack and Rose. Predeceased by siblings Jack Jr., Ken, Doreen, Terry, niece Kimberly and nephew Edward. Survived by siblings Deborah And Doug. Marie will be missed by very special nieces and nephews Michael, Michelle, John, Tony, Chris, Andrew, Rodney, Yvonne, Laura, Connie, Jim, Billy and Gary. Cherished by 9 Great nieces, 14 nephews along with 2 great great nieces and 2 great great nephews. Special friend to Notre Dame especially Sr. Audrey Marie. Lifetime friend of Ruth Yates and family. On behalf of the family we would like to thank all of those who helped care for Marie right up to her passing. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1919 King St E,. On Sunday, October 1st from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Chapel Service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, October 2nd at 9 am with an interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
