Bothen, Madeline (nee Melvin)

Passed away peacefully in hospital on February 15, 2018 in her 91st year. Predeceased by her husband Wilfred in 2003. Lovingly remembered by her children Karen, Cathy (Kevin) and Norman; grandchildren Jeff, Melissa (Sean), Kory (Denise) and Alexandra (Derrick) and great grandchildren Ella, Hughie and Logan. Madeline will be remembered by her many friends from tenpin bowling and was also known as Maddie who played Bingo at the Delta. She loved her family, scratch tickets, old games shows and a smoke. Special thanks to the staff at Juravinski Hospital – F3. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave., on Tuesday, February 20th from 10-11am followed by a chapel service in the funeral home at 11am. Burial to take place at Mount Hamilton Cemetery.
