I have often thought of Sister Michaeline over the years. I’m glad not to have missed seeing her death notice in the Kitchener Record. There are so many memories of her excellent care, concern & diligence, making sure that we as boarders would be up & not late for morning mass. She made sure that our windows were open at night to get lots of fresh air when we slept to keep us healthy & strong. She taught us how to iron our uniforms so we would look neat & tidy & wear them with pride. All lessons that have served me well. As I was a young, impetuous teenager (13-16), she seemed so “old” (probably about 45 in 1962) but now realize how young she really was & how blessed she was to have such a wonderful, long life serving God & her family.
My sincerest condolences to you, her family. She is fondly remembered by me & I’m sure many others.
