After a short illness, Adelio passed away peacefully at Heritage Green LTC on January 30, 2020 at the age of 96 years. Beloved husband of the late Maria. Adelio was a hardworking and loyal husband. He was a loving father and will be deeply missed by his daughter, Patrizia (Giovanni) and his beautiful grandchildren Alexandra and Annabella as well as great grandchildren Gianni and Khevai. Dear brother of Franco (Luisa), Gianna (Lello) and predeceased by his sister Leda (Ugo). He will also be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. A heartfelt thank you to all the nurses and staff at Heritage Green LTC. Your dedication and kindness in making my father’s final days are very much appreciated. Family will receive friends at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1919 King Street East (between Rosedale and Cochrane) on Sunday, February 2nd from 3-6pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, February 3rd at 11am. Burial to take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Juravinski Cancer Center would be appreciated by the family.
