Obituary for Bibiana Correa

Mrs. Maria Filomena Bibiana Correa (nee Mascarenhas), born December 2, 1938, lived her life with kindness guided by her strong Christian values and faith. She was a very generous person who showed forgiveness and compassion to others. She began each day attending mass, and believed that actions spoke louder than words, ultimately leading to greater fulfillment in life. She loved to dance and to sing. She was a dedicated, compassionate educator, who touched the lives of so many young elementary school children in the city of Hamilton. She spent time teaching French, was fluent in Portuguese, had a natural creative ability (knitting and crotching), and she had a love of gardening. She was extremely adventurous and traveled to many countries, receptive to learning about different cultures, their customs, and cuisines. She endured life's hardships and challenges with grace and dignity.

> She will be missed by her loving husband of 59 years, Dr. Eric Correa, her two daughters, Dr. Elaine Correa (partner Mr. Matthias Sturm) and Mrs. Yvonne Farrell (spouse Mr. Francis Farrell) as well as her two grandchildren, Eric Farrell and Dominique Farrell. She is survived by her sisters Joaninha Saldana, Leonildes Pinto, and her brother Anthony and sister in law Concey Mascarenhas. Her nieces, nephews from all around the world, and their children have expressed condolences and send continued prayers for their beloved Auntie Bibiana.
