On January 2, 2023, Bonnie Cosby passed away peacefully at age 63 following a long battle with respiratory illness. Bonnie was the biological mother of 4 children. However, many people considered her to be their surrogate mother.

Bonnie cared deeply for her family, and friends. She did this not out of obligation, but because of who she was. She was always the first to offer help. And she always ensured that everyone who crossed the threshold of her home was safe, welcomed and loved.

Survived by her husband Steve, lovingly remembered by her son, Edward (Rebekka), daughters Amanda (Cory), Christina (Michael), and Stephany; grandchildren Rhys, Joshua, and Felicity. Brothers John (Pierette), Ivor (Sharon), Charles (Judy), Colin, and Bob (Darlene); sister Linda; as well as many nieces, nephews.

Bonnie was a determined, creative soul, and was always eager to help anyone that needed her. Her tenacity and wit will be missed by all who knew it.

Special thanks to the wonderful staff, and visitors, at Regina Gardens Long Term Care who became an extension of her family over the years she stayed with them. She loved them all deeply, and showed them this through kindness, whenever she could.
