Skowronek, Catherine Ann “Kay” (nee Reynolds)
Peacefully, in God’s loving hands on February 18, 2021 in her 86th year. Beloved wife of Joseph for 66 years. Loving mother of Pat Marconi (Serge) and Mike (Catherine). Will be lovingly missed by her grandchildren Chris (Candice), Alex (Brittany), and Paul (Carleigh). Predeceased by her sister Betty Passmore (Ernie) and her brother Owen Reynolds (Olive). She will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Helen “Kay” Rakoczy, friends Bill and Lillian Fitzpatrick, and many nieces and nephews. Kay began as a successful hairstylist from Hamilton’s North End, and spent the rest of her life raising her family and enjoying life. In retirement, she excelled at winning jackpots and socializing on the casino bus. Thank you to Dr. G. Cox of the Firestone Clinic at St. Joseph’s Hospital and to the caring staff of the Juravinski Hospital. A Memorial Service and Celebration of her Life will be announced in the future. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Good Shepherd Centres.
