It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dick Gallant in his 92nd year at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Marion (nee Montague). Loving father of Michelle Hudson (Brian), Paul (Carol), the late Arlene Drewniak (John), and Richard Gallant (1984). Adored grandpa of Kathleen, Dennis, Nicole, Marcel, Steven, the late Daniel (2017), and Madeline. Dear brother-in-law of Helen, Bernie and Monica. Survived by his brother and several nieces and nephews. Dick and Marion loved the cottage and loved to share their PEI summer holidays with their children and grandchildren. These holidays will forever be cherished by all of us including our extended family. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave., on Friday, September 30th from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 440 King Street East on Saturday, October 1st at 10am. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery.
