It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Colleen MacLeod on December 31, 2020 at the Juravinski Hospital in her 64th year. Beloved wife of the late Timothy MacLeod (2017). Tim was the light of Colleen’s life – the most important person in her world. Every day of her life you knew that Tim was always her guy and she loved him so very much. Loving daughter of Patricia (Joy) and the late Douglas Mahar. Dear sister of Kevin Mahar (Cory), Marylou LeBlanc and the late Danny Mahar (1976). Dear aunt of Jennifer and Courtney. Colleen belonged to Community Living since 1970. She belong to a bowling league for several years bowling with Special Olympics and winning many trophies. She will also be missed by her many friends at First Place. Many thanks to CCAC, Community Living and the Juravinski Hospital for their support and kindness. A special thank you to “Way” for being a friend to Colleen for many years. A private family visitation and funeral will be held on Monday, January 4, 2021. Burial to take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Juravinski Hospital, c/o the Cancer Clinic would be appreciated by the family.
