Taylor, Dorothy Evelyn (nee Cruickshank)
In her 89th year Dorothy drew her last breath on earth at St. Peter’s Hospital on Tues July 13, 2021. There to greet her was her husband Jack (2008) and daughter Pam (2011).
“Dot” was born in Owen Sound on Jan 6, 1933 to Lance and Stella Cruickshank, and grew up there until she moved to Hamilton when she was 17, for work opportunities. It was there that she met Jack and they married a few years later.
She was predeceased by her brother Doug Cruickshank of Goderich and brother Cubby Cruickshank and his wife Jean of Owen Sound.
Dorothy will be terribly missed by her daughter Patti and son-in-law Joe Potts. She is survived by numerous cousins and nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to her good friend and sister-in-law Jean Cruickshank of Goderich and nephew Bill and niece Judi Cruickshank of Owen Sound for always keeping in touch with her, giving her someone else to talk to other than us! And thanks to niece Judy Shelton for her comforting messages, it mean a lot.
