Obituary for Felice Bozzo

Bozzo, Felice

It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of Felice Bozzo on Saturday, November 6th at the age of 83. Hand in hand, in loving embrace of his saddened yet proud family, he quietly slipped into the arms of the angels.

He was a devoted husband to Teodolinda Bozzo for 56 years, a loving father to his daughter Clementina and son-in-law, Jason Allan, son Michele and daughter-in-law Marcia Bozzo, and most cherished Nonno to his three proud grandchildren, Alexander, Kinsley and Ava who adored him immensely and who were truly the joy of his life.

Felice was the eldest of three brothers all born in Bivio Donnici, Italy. He will be sadly missed by brothers Silvio (Gina) and Domenic (Luisa) Bozzo. Predeceased by parents Michele and Clementina Bozzo, who he now joins along with many cherished family members and friends in heaven.
He will be fondly remembered by many nephews and nieces both near and far to whom he brought joy and many smiles.

He was full of life and his greatest joys were to always lend a hand, to raise a glass and to share his many passions. He gave us the gift of appreciating traditions like wine making, cooking and gardening. We will forever remember with fondness his strong working hands and open giving heart.
As a long time member of the Hamilton Donnici Club, he took pride in his heritage and looked forward to the annual Frittole celebration with his family and friends.

His passions are now ours and they will live on in us as his legacy. He loved spending time with his cousins over coffee and sometimes a brandy at a local club. Felice enjoyed many hours tailgating with his ‘Box J Boy Brothers’ (103-12-30) and cheering on his Ticats.

Felice was a husband, father, nonno, uncle, cousin, neighbour and friend who brought such simple but profound joy and happiness to all he met. His sincerity, love and passion for his family and friends is what will remain forever in our hearts. We are comforted in the knowledge that he is now at peace and will be able to live again through us.

Thank you to all who were involved in his care over the years. A special thank you to the Nephrology and Transplant Team at St. Joseph’s Hospital who, as a result of their commitment and dedication, gave us the gift of an additional 35 cherished years with him.
