Peacefully surrounded by her family on October 20, 2019 at Arbour Creek Care Centre, Helene passed away in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late George and companion to the late Real. Loving mother of Diane (Ray, predeceased), Nicole (Darwin), Rejean (Millie), and Lorraine (Jim, predeceased). Dear grandma of 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Sr. Anne Marie and predeceased by her 4 other siblings. Survived by many sisters-in-laws, nieces, and nephews. Helene will be lovingly remembered for her volunteer role at McMaster Hospital, Copetown Campers and was an active member of the Notre-Dame du Perpetuel Secours Church. At Helene’s request, cremation has taken place. A Memorial visiation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1919 King Street East on Friday, October 25th from 6-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Notre-Dame du Perpetuel Secours Church on Saturday, October 26th at 10am. Burial to take place at a later date. On-line condolences can be made to www.dermodys.com
