Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital after a brief illness on December 24, 2022 at the age of 96. Born in Johi, Croatia to Franca (Herbolic) Gracan and Mike Gracan who brought her and her two daughters to Canada in 1956 to start a better life. Left to mourn are her daughters Anne Denneny (the late Mike) and Bozica Mary Middlemiss (the late Brian), her grandchildren Trisha Notarandrea (Tony) and Jamie Denneny (Holly) and her great granddaughters Claire and Aniesa. Visitation will be held at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home, 1919 King Street East on Thursday December 29, 2022 from 9:30-10:30a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Parish, 1883 King Street East, on Thursday December 29, 2022 at 11 a.m. Private family interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donation to Holy Cross Parish or St. Joseph's Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
