Young, Kathlyne Leanora (nee Gowland)
March 30, 1929 – December 03, 2022
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kay at the age of 93. Born and raised in Hamilton. Her passions included Cake decorating, Word Search, Adult Colouring Books and above all hanging with her grandchildren & great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Ward, parents D’Arc & Irene, brothers Jim, Ron, Bob, Bill, brother-in-law Al Peters, & beloved grandson Jarod Young . She’s survived by her sister Lynda, sisters-in-laws Vicki & Elaine much loved mother of Jan, Greg, Jo-Anne (Steve), Cindy (Doug), Robert, Kathy (Ken), Paul. She will be remembered lovingly by her grandchildren Jim (Cheri), Jason (Tiennette), Lindsay (Chris), Corey, Kenny, Kaitlyn, Kirsten (Jazz), 8 great grandchildren & 3 great-great grandchildren, as well as her nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place on December 17, 2022 at PX Dermody Funeral Home 796 Upper Gage Avenue from 11:00 – 2:00
