Janiszewski, Linda Jane (nee Gowans)
November 28, 1962 – August 23, 2022
Peacefully on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at Arbour Creek LTC, after 34 years with Multiple Sclerosis, Linda has lost her battle in her 60th year.
Predeceased by her parents Agnes (2008) and Frank Gowans (2015). Loving sister to Sandra (Iain) Croley, Frances Dzamba and Susan Roumia (Rakan).
Linda was a dear, caring mother to her children Richard (Rebecca) and Jenny (Cameron). Linda’s latest greatest joy was her grandson Carter. Linda will be deeply missed by her lifelong friend Dawn Jabora. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, friends Adele and Marsha and special aunt Myrtle Gowans.
Linda always made every effort to enjoy her life to the fullest. She enjoyed her children’s activities when they were younger. She enjoyed going to Theatre Aquaris and other various outings.
No words can adequately express our deep gratitude for the tiredless compassion, attention and support Linda received from the staff at Arbour Creek Long Term Care for 18 years. A special thank you to nurses Myrna and Jun and all the PSW staff on the 2nd floor.
Cremation has taken place. Please join Linda’s family for a celebration of her courageous life on Sunday, September 18th from 1-4pm at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1919 King Street East. Donations to the MS Society would be greatly appreciated. On-line condolences can be made to www.dermodys.com
