With profound sadness and also a deep appreciation for a long and happy life, we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, Lita Heinbecker in her 93rd year. On October 16, 2022 heaven gained another angel and Mom joined the love of her life, Norm, husband for 64 beautiful and loving years. Family was everything to Mom and she has a legacy left to mourn her loss and celebrate her life. She will be dearly missed by children, Doug (April), Norman (Nona), Judy Atkinson (Gary), Sandra Spallacci (Loren), 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She will also be missed by her sister, Irma Adoranti, a large extended family and many friends she made throughout her long life.
Mom will always be remembered as the heart of the home, with a kind and loving word and a beautiful smile. We will remember her gentle ways, her sense of humour and her fashion sense.
The family wishes to thank the wonderful team at Macassa Lodge who cared for Mom like she was their own mother.
We are eternally grateful for the dignity and compassion you showed to her. As per Mom’s wishes, a private family gathering has taken place, where fond memories were shared. You are “home” now Mom.
