Obituary for Michael Cavoto

Cavoto, Michael
October 10 1945 - October 26 2022.

It is with immense sadness we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, brother and nonno Michael Cavoto. Michael was married to the love of his life, his world, Raffaela for over 52 years. Long drives, gardening, baking, just spending time with each other, was part of the unbreakable bond the two shared. The best father to Christina and her husband Paul. Proud nonno to his little Luca. Predeceased by his parents Angelo and Anna Maria Cavoto, sisters Carmela Alessandrino, Antoinetta Mastroianni and sister-in-law Irene Cavoto. Survived by his brothers Diodoro Cavoto and his wife Olimpia and John Cavoto. Brother-in-law to Rosetta DePaola and Tony, Mario and Isabella DePaola, Frank Mastroianni and Alzira, Diodoro Alessandrino. Dear friend to Dora and Lou Cocca. A wonderful uncle, cousin and friend to many. Michael dedicated his work life to Valley City Manufacturing for 45 years before retiring in 2004. A warm, kind and loving man, he was always up for coffee and conversation, enjoyed classic cars and Formula 1. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave. (Between Mohawk and Fennell) on Sunday October 30, 2022 from 4-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday October 31, 2022 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. www.dermodys.com
