It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Michele Toni Skalba (nee Berard) on February 10, 2023 at her home in Hamilton. Michele will be dearly missed by her partner of 20 years, Joe Smith, her son Shane, step-son Wade, and her uncle Ross. She also leaves behind many extended family members and friends. Michele was known for her outgoing and outspoken personality, her steadfast and loyal friendship and her love of Tom Jones. Through determination and perseverance, Michele was able to work her way up throughout her professional career, starting out as a machine operator. Michele will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 5-7pm at PX Dermody Funeral Home, 796 Upper Gage Ave. Hamilton. A Celebration of Michele’s Life will take place in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 12:00 p.m.
