Peacefully surrounded by her family on March 24, 2022, at the Burloak LTC, Palma Bomben passed away in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Leo Bomben. Loving mother of Paul (Deb), Frank (Margot), and Peter (Lisa). Dear grandmother of Marc, Ryan, Alyssa, Tyler, Kayley, Jeffrey, Joe, and Nicole. Great grandmother of Avery and Paige. Predeceased by her parents Giuseppe & Rachela and her 11 brothers and sisters. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Palma was a devoted member of the Catholic Women’s League at St. John the Baptist for well over 60 years. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1919 King Street East on Monday, March 28th from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Prayers will be said on Monday at 8pm. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. John the Baptist Church on Tuesday, March 29th at 12:30pm. Burial to take place immediately at Marymount Cemetery in Guelph. Special thanks to the staff at Burloak LTC and the Court of Rushdale for their care and compassion shown to Palma during her stays.
