It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of my beloved sister Phyllis Anne Panek, my best friend and travel partner. She passed away at Juravinski Hospital Dec. 21, 2020 at 90 years of age. We would like to thank the staff in the ICU department at Juravinski Hospital for watching over her with such compassion and care especially Allison, Danielle, Cathy, Joanne, Victoria, Meaghan V., Doctor J. Dionne and many others. Also we’d like to thank the care workers at Grace Villa. She had an immense love of music especially operas and musicals. Phyllis was a devout Catholic and was a Parishioner at Sts. Peter and Paul for 62 years. She graduated from Loretta Academy and grew up in Brightside. She will be dearly missed by her loving brother Leonard Panek and many cousins. She was an Angel on Earth. Due to COVID 19 a private family service will take place and she will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
