In Peace, Phyllis (Marszalek) Lech passed away on Saturday, October 29th, 2022 in her 90th year to join her beloved loving husband Ted (Thaddeus) Leonard Lech. Phyllis was the loving mother and mother-in-law of Deborah Lech & significant other Kelvin McDonald, Lorraine Lech & Nigel Moore, Dianne Lech & Colin Lyons, Ted Lech, and Gregory Lech. Loving grandmother to Cameron Lech Moore and Brenden, Jordan, and Kaiden Lech. Phyllis will be missed by her sister-in-law Anne Marszalek. Predeceased by her Parents Karl (Karol) and Victoria Marszalek, and siblings Lillian Debrusk, (the late Hank), Irene Wilson (the late Larry), Morris (Marian) Marszalek (the late Ann), and George Marszalek. She will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews and extended family. Phyllis was born in Manitoba on May 1, 1932, and then moved to Hamilton with her family as a young child. Phyllis was an active member of St. Margaret Mary and St. Stanislaus Parishes, where she was also a member of the CWL at the latter. Phyllis had a lovely sense of humour and loved her family being around her and always enjoyed being with her many friends. Throughout her life, Phyllis’ home was filled with family and friends, and she was always the consummate host, displaying her talents in cooking, baking, and entertaining. Phyllis also loved to play cards and was a skilled player in many games. Phyllis will be greatly missed by her 5 children.
