Peacefully at home in the early morning of January 14, 2021, Roger Settimi died at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband of 65 years to Annie. Loving father of Sandra Campovari, and Johnny Settimi (Tina). Dear Nonno of Adrianna (Dan), Michael (Raquel), Roger (Claudia), Nicholas, Jeremy (Elley), and Vanessa (Matthew). Bisnonno to Olivia, Ava, Danica, Vienna, Capri, Adele, Maxim, and Mateo. Dear brother of Ottavio (Vincenza), Maria (the late Emilio), Pierina (the late Valentino), and Laurina (the late Gino) and sisters-in-law Maria (the late Mario) and Rita (the late Guiseppe). Predeceased by his parents Domenico & Assunta and his brother Francesco (Adelia). Dear brother-in-law of Florence (Adornino), Helen (Rocco), Michelina (Nick), Joe (the late Dianna), and the late Edward and Michael. Son-in-law of the late Antoinetta and Benvenuto. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Roger was an usher at Blessed Sacrament Parish and was a member of the Venetian Club. He was a retired employee of Dofasco with over 40 years of service. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave., on Sunday, January 17th from 4-8pm. A Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, January 18th at 11am. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all in attendance MUST RSVP on the funeral home website or by calling 905-388-4141. All in attendance must wear a mask.
