Our beloved Sofia passed away in her home on May 6, 2023, she was 83 years old. She was born in Filiates, Greece and will now be reunited with her husband Dimitrios Boutassi. She leaves behind her children Jane (Tom) Topalopoulos, Liz (Ryan) Boutasis-Cronk, Angie (Jim) Raptis, Nick (Kat) Boutassi. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Jimmy, Patricia, Ayrie-anna, Sophia and Michael. She was known as a strong, good woman, she stood just over 4 feet but was mighty. She was blunt, outspoken and worked hard her whole life to provide for the family, even if it mean she did without. She loved to walk everyday, it didn’t matter what the weather was like, she loved the outdoors and the ocean. She also volunteered at the Panagia Greek Orthodox Church, she always wanted to keep busy. She will be dearly missed. “A mothers love for her children should never be underrated or questioned”
