Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton on 30 December, 2022 in his 87th year Bill was called home to be with his Lord. Beloved husband of Catherine for 44 years, predeceased by his first wife Anne and daughter Laura. Loving father to Suzanne (Lawrence), Jessica (Jeremy), and Lindsay. Cherished Grumpy to Bradley (Krystal), Colleen, Joseph, Amelia, Amber, Tenebre, and Ianto. Great-Grumpy to Ethan, Adelyn, and Oliver. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Bill was a strong believer in youth and was an active leader with Army Cadets for many years. He will be remembered for his love of his homeland, Scotland, and his fondness of Welsh Corgis, which he had raised many throughout the years. A special thanks to Dr. Deborah Hastings and Dr. Christian Rabbat, NP Ashton Roberts, and the dialysis team at St. Joseph’s King Street Campus for their care and support of Bill over the years. Funeral Service will be held on Friday 6 January, 2023 at St. Stephen on the Mount Church (625 Concession St, Hamilton) at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, Bill has asked that a donation be made to a charity of your choice.
