Heaven just got a little sweeter, the gates opened up above, soaring you up high we hold onto memories and treasuring them with love. The sadness doesnt go away but we know God picked you on this day; memories are precious that will last a lifetime through, but he needed another angel so he too picked you. They say there is a reason, that your time will come. The angels call upon your name and rightfully take you up above. Its so hard to understand, my heart it breaks through and through, my days have been counting on how much I'm missing you. And they say that time will heal, and to keep your memories near, right now my mind it spins and the thought without you now just seems so unreal. Is it as glorious in heaven Grams what do you see? Is it as wonderful as they make us believe? Do roses grow in heaven Lord? Can you pick a bunch for me? Place them in my Grandma's arms and say they are from me. The memories of your smile, If only I could have you back for awhile. I'd tell you all my secrets, and share my thoughts with you, I know I could always come to count on you. The bond we shared is not broken, it's just simply you're not here, but I will keep these memories safe and close to my heart you hear. So for now I'll sit and think of you, and pray that you're ok.
