Obituary for Mary Bruch (Durney)
Bruch, Mary (nee Durney)
Passed away peacefully, while surrounded by family, on August 6, 2016. Mary was in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Julius Bruch (2012). Loving mother of Christopher (Donna), Madelynne (Mark) Kokoski, Suzanne (David) McMillan. She was a proud Nana to Steven (Kristen), Matthew, Laura, Kevin, Jonathan, Aaron, Julian, Ian, Mary, Eryk, Alex, Sean, Andrew and Patrick. Dear GG to Payton. She will be missed by her sister Betty Denomme and several nieces and nephews. She was a retired bookkeeper with the Hamilton Credit Bureau. She was a devoted wife, mother and CWL member since 1954 and loved her church and family. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the St. Joseph’s Cardiac Unit staff and physicians and PSW Venetia for their care and support. Visitation will be at the P. X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage, Hamilton, (between Mohawk and Fennell) on Tuesday, August 9th from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with prayers at 8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 50 Brucedale Ave. East on Wednesday, August 10th at 10 am. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington.
