1921-2016
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Marilynne Weadick in her 95th year on October 1, 2016 at Macassa Lodge. Beloved wife of the late William. Loving mother of Susan, Christine, Michael (Lynn), Stephen (Muriel), Norah (Dan), and Brian (Cathie). Dear grandmother of Christopher, Cameron, Colin, David, Carolyn and Brian and great grandmother of Natasha, Brooklyn and Maggie. Predeceased by her parents Dr. Gerald J. and Louise Lunz, her brother Jack, sister Suzanne and her granddaughter Gail. Marilynne was a popular librarian at the Hamilton Public Library with many years of service. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 7 East Ave. South on Wednesday, October 5th from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Prayers will be said on Wednesday at (time to be confirmed). A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church on Thursday, October 6th at 10 am. Cremation to follow. Burial of ashes will take place at a later date. Donations to the Good Shepherd Centres or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
