Obituary for Jean Brown

(1931 – 2017)
On May 14th, 2017, Jean Brown passed away peacefully at Juravinski Hospital. Jean will be dearly missed by cousins, friends and Eaton’s colleagues. Jean was predeceased by her parents David and Colina (Banton) and her two brothers, Patrick (1940) and John (1984). Jean was a long time employee and competent manager of Eaton’s Canada for over 35 years. A Mass to celebrate Jean’s life will take place at St. Elizabeth Village chapel on Friday, May 19th at 8:30am with a reception to follow. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery at 11am. Sincere thanks to the caregivers at St. Elizabeth Retirement Centre and the Palliative Care team at Juravinski Hospital for your dedication and for generously and happily going the extra mile. Dear God: Help me to be a good sport in the game of life. I don’t ask for an easy place in the lineup. Put me anywhere you need me. I only ask that I can give you 100 percent of everything I have. And when I finish the final inning, all I want is to believe in my heart that I played as well as I could and that I didn’t let you down.
