My sincere condolences to the entire family. I have many happy memories of my "birthday pal" and, of course, many photographs of your Dad and Mom. It was great that they joined the "Deadman" clan for many of our celebrations over the years - family reunions, birthday celebrations, family and friends gatherings, including the theme parties at Sue's*. I'm glad that your Dad introduced me (and John) to holey board - a good time was had by all whether at their house or ours! (* And Sue still has the
1" paper boat that your Dad made for her!) Take care and enjoy all your happy memories!

I had the pleasure of working with Lionel in Stelco's Cold Mill Accounting Office. Lionel was the go to guy if you needed to know anything about rolls. He was an energetic innovator when it came to computers. He designed many custom programs which made the day to day routines a lot easier for those around him. Above all of this, he had a great sense of humour. I was fortunate as his supervisor to work with Lionel. My heartfelt condolences to his family.

Kind regards,

Peter Swire, CPA, CMA
