i wanted to express my deepest condolences regarding the loss of your mother. i worked with your mother on Soldiers One at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital.
I want to relay a short story that honestly changed my life decision and i relay the story repeatedly. At some time in your moms life, she and your father moved to British Columbia. Things were going well for a few years? ...Until one year, the children did not come to British Columbia for Christimas. That was the end of British Columbia!!!! She told your dad she wwas moving back to Ontario, she did not care where, but she would be able to see her children without getting on a plane.

Prior to her story, i had been considering moving to PEI. Your mom said "it is ok when your children decide to move outside of province, but moms and dads need to stay put" And thus I have and I have never regretted that decision

i will miss your mom. she was the brightest l;ight on Soldiers One

I am so sad to hear this news. Marlene had such a beautiful soul. I had the privilege of working with her at OSMH. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Marlene will certainly be missed by many.
